Meet our Faculty

Ms. Thomas is the founder and director of Ace Academy. She has a Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Masters degree in Clinical Research from Drexel University Medical School in Philadelphia, PA and she is also a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor for students with dyslexia. 

Elizabeth loves teaching and interacting with students. She has put in a great time and energy in setting up Ace Academy and is constantly striving to develop it into an institution that helps our students achieve their educational goals. She also takes great pleasure in tutoring her students and help them meet and exceed their goals. 

In addition to her work at Ace Academy, Elizabeth is proud mother of her three young children!  

Dr. Taylor holds a Bachelor and Master of Science Degree in Education from Arkansas State University and Doctor of Education from University of Wyoming.

Before joining Ace Academy, she worked as Dean of Academic Affairs at Granite State College, New Hampshire, Academic Dean at Urban College of Boston, MA, Director of Doctoral Programs at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, Adjunct Professor of Elementary Education and Reading at State University of New York College at Buffalo and Assistant Professor of Education at Univesity of Wyoming.

Dr. Taylor has been working at Ace Learning Academy from its inception as our lead ACT Preparation Coach. Under her coaching and guidance, we have had exceptional success with our ACT prep program. She is also a highly sought after teacher for our English and Reading Tutoring Programs.
